Real Wedding: Ashley + Aaron’azines Bohemian Palm Spring’s Wedding ceremony
**update – a bit more in regards to the dress and band from Ashley. Thanks Ashley!
Clothes is from the 1930’s and was purchased here in LA at the Santa Monica Civic Center Classic Expo. It was the first costume I tried on and I paid $600 for it!! Elegant Mode on Fairfax handled the repairs (it absolutely was super delicate) and alterations and she did a FABULOUS job!!!! Sadly there is no tag and that i do not have the name of the vendor I purchased it from. My ring ended up being purchased from my dear pal Metier in SF who sells gorgeous Estate necklaces and is English through the 1800’s. Also, I read your website religiously before the wedding party and found my AMAZING photographer Heidi via the website. Yay!
I love that they can took portraits within the lobby with the super cool rope installation!
From Heidi, My favorite part of the wedding day was how we designed to shoot portraits before the wedding ceremony. We had arrived really able to take advantage of the Ace Resort as a location. We all stopped at an abandoned parking lot on how to the ceremony to be able to shoot more photos in a natural scenery. I love it after i have architecture to use and landscape to work with. It gives a fantastic balance to the images overall. I agree! These pictures you captured are generally stunning! Amazing gentle in the desert.
The actual monkey was a big surprise for the groom and a wedding gift through the bride for your pet as well. He is a huge dog lover and Ashley thought it would be a cute to surprise him with this funny little dog. I know one person who’s going to be super envious when they see this part! My husband joked that he wanted a monkey at our wedding – I didn’t think it turned out possible, but they simply proved me completely wrong! I love your idea Ashley – and that little man is so cute!
Jen, their wedding planner was kind enough to include a few thoughts on the day: This became a really hip and also eclectic couple isn’t exactly what they needed. From every ornate amazingly to every Lucite piece, we all hand picked everything. The fashion was bohemian/modern. We actually had a company, Furniture Swap, that stages virginia homes in Palm Rises to find some really interesting and eye catching items. The clear globe lighting were hung in the trees and really designed a beautiful setting when it became darker. A dream catcher was hung off of the branches where they were wed. This wedding was probably the most private that I have ever done. It really stated a lot about the pair.
To keep the bash on it’s toes in addition they had a psychic readers in a room lit up by candle lighting. It was very exclusive and fun for those!
